Handmade journal, wee Skye

This absolutely beautiful coptic book was made on the island by classical bookbinder Laura West. Laura is a true master, or mistress, of her craft and her work is much admired by us here at Love from Skye. It is a privilege to display her books alongside our jewellery in our shop.

Laura’s books are hand stitched. She hand embosses the title on the leather front and the paper is handmade. The spine of her books are exposed to show the stunning linen thread stitch work.

The front of this journal is embossed with the word Skye, perfect for all you lovers of our island out there! The perfect book to document your special memories or sketch your favourite spots.

A lovely leather tab fastener keeps this journal closed and safely keeps your memories inside.

The back of this journal is plain leather. Please be aware that the leather covers are a natural, slightly rustic look. The pages are blank.

This book is 13.5 x 9 x3 cm and is boxed in a natural, card, presentation box.
