Our Sterling silver Broadford Bay ammonite is made exclusively by Love from Skye on the Isle of Skye. This piece is formed directly from a fossil discovered on the rocks by “uncle Iain” who gifted it to our children. It’s such a perfect ammonite so we decided to take it to our workshop to make a mould, we then cast from the mould which allows us to perfectly replica the exact detail of this beautiful fossil. (This is very different to the way we usually work in our workshop – usually making the first of every design from sheet silver, cutting and forming designs from sheet). Broadford Bay is here in the village. We are so lucky to have access to the bay from our shop, workshop and home where we can enjoy the calmness and take our children to play, explore & learn.
This pendant is 22mm in length and is presented on either an 18 inch filed trace chain or the heavier option of a round linked trace chain (in the same length). The lighter weight chain is on the left and the heavier chain is on the right in the photos showing the two chain options side by side. The option I wear in the photos is the heavier chain option.

The pendant is single sided (to reduce weight in terms of both cost and comfort for the wearer).
