Opening information following our closure due to COVID-19

We are very pleased to now be open by appointment to welcome customers into our shop. 

To arrange a visit to our shop to browse, to discuss an order or to drop off a repair, please see ‘Get in Touch’.

We’re sorry if our appointments system is inconvenient or disappointing, however, we feel that this is the safest option for us due to our family situation. We’re also aware that being open as normal but restricting numbers entering our shop, asking others to wait, would often be inconvenient as we regularly spend a lot of time with our customers depending on the nature of their enquiry.

We are very happy for you to arrange to visit our shop whether you would like to buy a piece of jewellery or a greetings card, or whether your repair is a watch battery replacement or a more extensive repair. There is no obligation to make a purchase if you make an appointment. We are appreciative of your understanding with our new way of opening & your effort to arrange to visit us.

We haven’t set up an online booking system as we feel that we can be more flexible if you get in touch with us. We will make it as easy as possible!

Some customers do arrive without prior arrangement & if we are able to welcome you inside then, of course, we will but please be aware that it may not be possible and it may not be possible for us to come to the door if we are with customers or if we are undertaking a task in our workshop which can’t be stopped.

While we are still not back to normal, we are very happy to send photos of the jewellery, gifts & cards by other local & Scottish makers which we showcase in our shop and we are working on adding some of these to our website.

Changes during October & November

We are sorry that appointment availability will be more limited for some of October & November. This is due to scheduled surgery at a time when our team is greatly reduced following lockdown and we have a young family to also care for.

We will still be available for appointments during most of October & November so please do get in touch.

We will however have very limited availability on Saturday 17th – Monday 19th October.

We will be unavailable for appointments from Tuesday 20th October until Thursday 22d October.

We will have very limited availability on Friday 23rd October & Saturday 24th October.

We will then be taking appointments on a slightly more limited basis than normal from Monday 26th October.

We hope to get back to normal around Wednesday 11th November!

Directions
