G.T’s cafe, within the ‘Love from Skye’ building, is currently open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 9am – 3pm & Sundays 9am – 1pm serving breakfast, lunch, coffee, cake & scones! G.T’s is located within our building but is owned and run as a separate business so please contact Tom at G.T’s for further information or to confirm these hours before making a special trip to the cafe. Our pop-up room is open various hours depending on bookings but we always aim to have something on in the space every Friday. If we don’t have an individual booking on a Friday, we host a mini market day from 11am – 4pm when up to 6 local makers get together to trade from the space selling their handmade products which can be anything from bread to cakes, pies to cardigans, Skye fairies to jewellery, paintings to wooly hats! Our hours:
We’re sorry that we don’t open on Sundays as we’re a small family business, with young children, and we don’t extend our hours to longer days during the “visitor season” because we’re open year round and don’t reduce our working hours in the winter.

Visiting us to purchase rings:
If you have looked at our site with a view to come and purchase rings, please be aware of our ‘making to order’ timeframes and / or the timeframe to make sizing adjustments. As we are a small business, we don’t make a stock of different sizes. While planning your visit, please consider taking a few moments to read the information on our delivery / collection page to avoid disappointment and to allow you to plan ahead. We’re always happy to answer questions ahead of your arrival and you are also able to arrange to have rings ready for you when you arrive. Thank you.
Jeweller availability:
Please be aware that our owner / jeweller is our only jeweller and may not be available at all times during our advertised opening hours. Sometimes our shop will be open without our jeweller / workshop services being available. This includes services such as watch battery replacements. Please feel welcome to check ahead of arriving. Please also be aware that our jeweller is not always able to leave the workshop to discuss enquiries. Enquiries are often handled by our wee shop team initially.
Bank holidays:
We don’t change our opening hours for normal bank holidays (other than Christmas & New Year).
Winter:
We are open year round.
If travelling from the south (Skye Bridge or Mallaig ferry), take the first left after the Village Hall to park behind our building. If you reach the Co-op supermarket or Asda fuel station then you’ve gone too far.
If travelling from the north of the island, you’ll find us on the other side of the road just after the Co-op supermarket and the Dunollie Hotel. Take your first right after the hotel to find our car park.
For those less able, please be aware that the carpark is up a wee hill. There is a roadside parking bay at the front of our shop but unfortunately there is no designated disabled parking on the street and it is sometimes full.
