Love from Skye is with Bryony K Matthews in Broadford, Highland, United Kingdom.1 day ago
Well, we might be a wee bit biased about how fab Broadford is but...! I celebrated a 'special' day this week so took a much needed day off to celebrate and spent it relaxing around the village.
The 3 of us headed to Deli Gasta for a morning coffee then took a walk through the beautiful community gardens and along the pier road. I then met my parents (many of you will know mum from serving in our shop and dad from the bank van and now as one of the kilted guides at Eileen Donan Castle!) for a great brunch at Cafe Sia. We love Tom's restuarant and Tom (who works for Tom!) treated baby Willow like such a little lady! I then headed to the brand spanking new Skye Serenity Spa for a massage with Beth, Gemma's new pampering buddy. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing these treatment rooms and these girls are! The little lady & I then had a toddle around the cool & quirky market square before we met daddy again and head to Sleat for our evening out.
Aren't we so lucky to have so many great places & people in the village?! And I didn't even manage to pack everywhere into my day!
A visitor to Skye stopped me in the street to tell me how much she loved my necklace. I thanked her and told her that my husband made it for me and we had a wee laugh about how lucky I am to be married to someone who makes me beautiful jewellery. I failed to tell her about our shop in case I sounded pushy! #mustgetbetteratselfpromotion
Paul made this one just for me but I often tell him that he should make a similar design for our collection as I receive so many compliments about it.
So if the lady who I met is reading this post, it was so lovely of you to stop me to say this and we have a shop you know!!!
We've been asked to add a Celtic cross to our collection lots of times so here it is! Our design features Celtic Triskelles and is available in 2 sizes, this one being the smaller of the two. Hope you like our latest addition to the Love from Skye collection!
Tomorrow (Saturday) is going to be a great day in Broadford! The village gala is on at the hall and Skye Serenity is hosting an open day to give us all a sneaky peek of their new treatment rooms and spa...yes, Skye's first spa! (Just across the road from us!) Wishing both the primary school comittee, who have organised the gala, and Gemma & Beth at Skye Serenity a really successful day.
We are, of course, open as usual so pop in for a browse when you're passing! A £50 Love from Skye voucher is up for grabs at the gala so make sure you buy lots of raffle tickets 😜
Photo taken in the beautiful community garden. Doesn't it look so lovely?
